Panasonic has announced a new Viera PX80-series plasmas. These TVs come in three sizes, TH-50PX80 which is a 50-inch, TH-42PX80 which is a 42-inch and finally the TH37PX80 which is a 37-inch. All models have a contrast ratio of 15,000:1; the 50-inch model has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 with both the 42 and 37-inch having a resolution of 1,024 x 768.

All three televisions have dual HDMI inputs as well as D4 and D-Sub. Panasonic have also decided to treat us with an Ethernet port and an SD card reader.
