30,000 to1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
With a Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 30,000 to 1 images are presented with power, precision and lifelike detail. The Digital Dynamic Contrast is controlled by a variable backlight behind the panel. Real 100Hz
Conventional TVs display visuals at a 50Hz frame rate, which means it shows 50 still images per second. In this case, however, we can sometimes see image blurring in fast moving scenes.
With SAMSUNG, the technology used enables the display to present motion in a more fluid way without any blurring by :
Frame doubling from 50 to 100 frames per second (100Hz LCD panel),
Not repeating the same image to make more frames, but intelligently calculating the 'middle' image between frame A and frame B and inserting another frame 'A+' in between.
