The Samsung PL60 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 5x optical zoom lens. This is a small, compact digital camera.

Samsung has included a Smart Auto mode with the PL60. When you select this mode the camera will access the scene you are photographing and compare it to information it holds on the most popular photographic scenes. If it makes a match it is able to optimise the settings to use for the shot.

Other features include a recycle bin. When you activate the recycle bin all images that you deleted are sent to the bin. The advantage of this is that if you have deleted a photo in error it can be retrieved from the bin.

Samsung has also set up the PL60 so it can be recharged by connecting to a USB port on a computer. It can also be recharged from a wall socket using the supplied cable. There is no need for a separate charging unit. This is a bonus if you are traveling with your camera.
