The Panasonic Lumix TZ5 is the successor to the popular TZ3. It features the same 28-280mm equivalent 10x zoom with optical stabilisation, but now with a 9.1 Mpixel sensor and a more detailed 3in screen with 460k dots. The TZ5 also records 720p HD movies at 30fps (with HDTV output using an optional component cable), and has an improved Intelligent Auto mode. The cheaper TZ4 is the same but with 8.1 Mpixels, a 230k 2.5in screen and no HD recording
